Last weekend we had Willie stay with us. He is a Basset Hound and Cattle Dog mix and he and Izzie have known each other for a few years. It was like Izzie had a friend over for the weekend. It was so cute to watch them walking around the house together. Just two buddies, following each other around from room to room. :-)
We had a beautiful weekend and our backyard was the perfect place for a "dog" nap. Willie loved just sprawling out in the grass.
Izzie loves to lay on the warm dirt....with her black fur...and cook! Ahhhhhhh.....a dog's life!
Willie found a toy that soon became him favorite. He carried the orange toy around for 3 days!
We also gave Willie a bath. He was a trooper..

Despite the bath....Willie still had a great weekend!
We can't wait to have Willie over for another weekend.
